It hits us all at one time or another. Whether you can't seem to finish a project before moving on to something else, or you just can't seem to figure out what to knit, knitter's block is a nightmare. What's the last project that I actually finished? This shawl below:
And while it is great, here is a portion of what I have on the needles currently:
A future shawl, cowl, super scarf (all new patterns), and a washcloth (for when you just need to finish something already). Since these picture were taken, the cowl lost a fight with a magazine in my knitting back (rookie mistake, I know) and has since been frogged all the way back to nothing. Does that even count as frogging? If you remove every stitch? The shawl has reached a point where I am 85% sure I am going to run out of yarn before I finish. The super scarf hasn't been touched, and I'm about 10 rows further in on the washcloth. You know, that thing that should make you feel better because at least you finished something. Maybe I should have aimed even lower and knitted a coaster. Don't worry, though, I bought a massive amount of new yarn this weekend. Because even if you can't stash bust, you can still always add to it!
Back to working on that washcloth. Because I'll be damned if I am not going to finish something for Finished Object Friday this week!
What do you do when you just can't seem to see a project through to the end?
